
Jordan McCarroll, Attorney
Jordan McCarroll, a native of Pilot Point, Texas, began her legal career practicing general corporate and equine law. Since joining Shields Legal Group three years ago, Jordan has narrowed her practice to corporate transactional matters with a focus on assisting clients with all aspects included in the lifetime of a company. These range from the formation or purchase of a company to its eventual sale.
Client’s appreciate Jordan’s attention to detail and drive to find the right answer to whatever situation is at hand. During her career, she has crafted the documents for the creation, governance, and operation of more than 40 Texas entities. She has negotiated and drafted the agreements in more than 30 real property transactions, and provided legal opinions regarding various title commitments. Jordan’s legal research and writing skills have also been used quite extensively in various litigation matters.
Jordan followed family tradition and attended Texas A&M for her undergraduate studies and graduated cum laude with a major in English and a minor in Business. Jordan went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Baylor Law School.
Community involvement is very important to Jordan; she believes it helps you not only improve your business but also your family life. Jordan strives to impact the Addison and Dallas areas, both professionally and personally. She is an active member of the Junior League of Dallas where her current placement has her volunteering at The Perot Museum of Nature and Science. Jordan is also a member of Saint Michaels and All Angels Episcopal church and plans to increase her giving and community service through that as well.
Jordan is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and belong to the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Aggie Bar Association, and the Tarrant and Dallas County Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Texas Young Lawyer’s Association and the Tarrant County Young Lawyer’s Association. Through the TCYLA, Jordan has become involved with the Texas A & M School of Law Mentor Program.
